We're a small, home-based dog boarding and daycare business specializing in dogs 40 pounds and under. Unlike large commercial boarding facilities, we intentionally limit our care to 10 dogs or fewer at a time. This allows us to provide personalized attention, carefully supervised playgroups, and a calm, low-stress environment where every dog is known by name.
Our Story
SB Backyard Buddies was created with one simple goal: to provide the kind of care we would want for our own dogs.
We know how stressful it can be to leave your best friend behind. That's why we've built an environment that feels like home instead of a kennel. Our guests spend their days playing in our secure backyard, relaxing indoors, receiving plenty of affection, and following routines that help them feel comfortable and confident while you're away.

At SB Backyard Buddies, our daycare is designed specifically for dogs 40 pounds and under, with small playgroups of 10 dogs or fewer to ensure every guest receives plenty of attention and care.
Unlike large daycare facilities, we focus on quality over quantity. Dogs are thoughtfully grouped based on their size, temperament, and energy level, allowing them to play, socialize, explore, and relax in a calm, supervised environment. Whether your dog loves to romp around with friends or prefers lounging in the shade for belly rubs, we tailor each day to their individual personality and needs.
Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy supervised outdoor play, comfortable indoor rest areas, fresh water, potty breaks, and lots of love from our experienced caregivers. Our secure, home-style setting provides a low-stress alternative to large commercial facilities, helping your dog feel comfortable and at ease from drop-off to pick-up.
Daycare Hours:
Monday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Our long-term boarding guests become part of our daily routine, receiving personalized care, supervised play, plenty of affection, and a comfortable, low-stress environment. Because we intentionally limit our boarding to 10 dogs or fewer, your pup will enjoy individualized attention rather than getting lost in a large facility.
We understand that extended trips can add up, which is why we offer special discounted rates for stays of 10 days or longer. Our goal is to make long-term care both affordable and worry-free, giving you peace of mind while you're away.
